About

My name is Ralina Talipova and I am a software developer interested in Java, Spring, cloud, microservices and modern technologies. I am based in Amsterdam and work in a software company named Trifork.

I have worked as a software developer for more than 10 years and have experience in building and designing systems for various clients: telecommunication, airline companies, government organisations, etc. Currently I am working on the project for Dutch Lottery where I have participated in building a subscriptions backend system from the starting phase all the way to production.

My specialties are mostly related to backend development: microservices, authentication and authorisation, integration (REST), messaging, transaction management, batch processing (Spring Batch), etc. I have expert level in Java, the entire Spring ecosystem, Hibernate/JPA and other libraries and frameworks.

I am taking responsibility for the projects I am working on and leading the product till successful delivery. In my everyday work I design and implement the new features based on business requirements, including writing unit tests, integration tests and acceptance tests as well as fixing production bugs and incidents and working on the tech debts. I help my colleagues to grow professionally and take role in onboarding new team members. I love coding and delivering software and bringing my contribution to the systems which are used by end users. I am not satisfied with what’s already available and have the ambition to improve things. I have strong technical skills and soft skills and can communicate both to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Originally I am from Russia, a city named Ufa. I studied applied mathematics and have a 5 year diploma.

I like to learn new technologies, attend conferences and host meetups with different IT speakers.
